Vision Zero

🚨 Northern Cass is now officially a VISION ZERO School! 🚗

Vision Zero is a statewide initiative focused on eliminating fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roadways. The program empowers schools to create a culture of responsibility around traffic safety, with learners leading the charge to raise awareness about the preventability of crashes.

Northern Cass, the 13th Vision Zero school, is focusing on SPEED as their key safety issue. With the leadership of learners Addisyn W., Keelan M., Macy M., and Marshall S., the school aims to make a real difference in reducing speeding-related crashes.

Did you know? Teen drivers (ages 14-19) make up 6% of North Dakota's drivers but are involved in nearly 20% of all crashes. Speeding is a major factor, with a crash happening every 2 hours in 2023!

Let's work together to make our roads safer.
